"The Way I See the World"
"The way I see the world, I can be where I want to be, I'm not a prisoner anywhere, i'm so much more than this disease"
The song "The Way I See The World" was inspired by the poetry of Gianna Gutierrez Serrato, an 8 year old girl living with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Having been born with CF, Gianna has a unique set of life experiences that have inspired her to feel deeply and have a wisdom well beyond her years.
With a deep love of music and poetry, she reached out to one of her favorite musical groups, the Colombo American singer/songwriter duet called "IndiviDúo" and asked them to help her put music to her feelings. It was her hope that the song would give a glimpse into the life of a child living with a life threatening illness.
Proceeds from the sale of "The Way I See the World" will be donated to CFRI - Cystic Fibrosis Research Incorporated who is constantly finding ways to support and treat those suffering from this disease.
